CEO/Creative Director: Niekko Chin

Niekko Chin began his career as a dancer in New York City. He studied Modern Jazz at the Dance Theatre of Harlem and started performing in music videos and tours for various artists. Niekko honed his skills through work at major theme park attractions, show productions, corporate musical theater, dinner theater, dance, television and live production. In 1984, he formed the New Vision Cirque & Dance Company, which later became Cirque USA and at the time was a group of traveling performers (acrobats, gymnasts, aerialist, stunt and cirque artists, ballet and hip hop dancers) that would tour the country for clients such as Pfizer, BMW, Sony and Rolls Royce. Niekko also produced shows for major corporations which included Bell South, AT&T, Pfizer, IBM, Microsoft, Sony and Sharp Electronics. He also produced live shows for Disney; and provided cirque performers for Prince, Cher, MTV Video Music Awards after party for Usher, John Travolta Super Bowl Party 2008 and private events for Donald Trump. Niekko's creative and original concepts have earned him the reputation of an industry trendsetter, and continue to earn him accolades for each new show he produces.

Vice President of Special Events: Katy Knapp

Katy has worked in the entertainment industry as a professionally trained dancer for over 16 years. She has won numerous dance awards throughout her career, including Senior Solo State Champion in 2001 & 2002. She was also an Orlando Predators Cheerleader for the 2002 and 2003 seasons. Katy has been producing Special Events for Cirque USA for over 2 years. When it comes to celebrity performances, televised productions and turn-key cirque shows, you will find Katy behind the scenes producing all the key elements! In 2007, Katy produced private parties for John Travolta, Carmen Electra and Donald Trump. She was also the stage manager for the 'White' National Theatre Tour in 2006. From corporate functions to celebrity events, Katy proves to be an industry trendsetter. Knowledgeable in all production areas, you will find Katy a reliable source of information in developing your Special Events.

 

Artistic Director: Leslie Ferrelli

 

Leslie graduated with a BFA in dance Performance in 2004 from the University of the Arts, in Philadelphia. Working with the Delaware Valley Jazz Company instilled Leslie with determination and dedication as well as igniting her passion for dance, performance and perfection.  While attending University of the Arts, she has been lucky enough to study with some of the nations best dance teachers, Ruth Andrian, Pat Thomas, Faye Snow, Andrew Pap, Kip Martin, Mia Michaels, Cuban Pete and Jennifer Binford among others.  Working extensively with Roni Koresh of the Koresh Dance Company to master his unique style of jazz combined with modern dance, Leslie discovered her passion for choreography.  She has worked with several dance companies such as Tournado Dance Company, Contempra Dance Theater and DRIP to name a few.  Leslie has been performing internationally with Cirque USA since 2003. In 2005, she accepted the role as Artistic Director for Cirque USA.  Since then she has been acting as choreographer for the company and producing corporate and theater shows internationally.   

Theatre Tour Manager: Marisa Knight

Marisa is a graduate of Ohio Northern University with a BA in Theatre and Modern Dance. Throughout her college career, she was a stage manager, actress or dancer in over 16 productions. She was also given opportunities to study under internationally known dancers such as James Sewell, Roni Koresh, Tom and Susana Evert and Demetrius Klein. Most recently, she completed a certification program in Isadora Duncan Studies. She has traveled to Scotland to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and then to New York as a Director of Choreography in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. In 2004, she moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where she decided to concentrate solely on Ballroom and Latin dance at the successful Dancin’ Dance Centre. She is also a certified Makeup Artist from Joe Blasco Makeup School, and is extremely happy to be back to her theatre roots with Cirque USA.
