Taste of the Orient is our most spectacular show yet. Enhanced by magnificent and brilliant costuming, keeping true to the Asian tradition, our 20 members of Taste of the Orient have enthralled audiences worldwide. With years of rigorous training behind them, their strength, flexibility and grace are evident in their stage performance and presence. As is their tradition, aspiring acrobats begin their training at the tender age of 4, going through the basics of dancing, balancing, tumbling, flexibility and strength, before spending many additional years perfecting specific acrobatic skills that make them experts at their craft. The training and practice of these acrobats reach beyond just severe physical demands but tap into a spiritual essence derived from the practice of Chi Kung. This ancient Asian philosophy of inner strength focuses on both the body and mind, making them work together in perfect harmony. This harmony is evident in their perfectly synchronized ensemble performances and is infused in each individual acrobat's physical and philosophical makeup. Magnificent and awe inspiring displays of balance, juggling, dance, comedy and pure magic are what gives them the edge over other performers. With an unmistakable love for their craft, their spellbinding feats of physical daring and grace enhanced by ancient and contemporary theatrical techniques make a truly indelible impression on anyone lucky enough to be in their audience.
